Our automatic assembly lines combine flexibility, productivity and management easiness, satisfying the need to suit the mutable market demands with a drastic reduction of time and money. The plant here presented as an example assembles and tests remote controls for domestic electronic devices (TV, Hi-Fi, DVD,…) of all commercial brands: that implies a big model variety even inside the same product family. From the automation point of view, the task consists not only in facing all the possible variants and combinations, but mainly in achieving the necessary flexibility to fulfil production demands. Our plant is the right answer to suit these requirements: the operator can change model just modifying few settings of the working cycle, while the production rate remains at about 600 remote controls per hour, all assembled, tested and ready for sale. Lot traceability, production rate per time and shutdown statistics are all available data, and that makes easier plant managing and supply problem solving.
